Cedar Rapids Citizens Irate Over Parking

New pay stations replaced coin operated meters last October. Cedar Rapids citizens say the real parking issue is not the parking meters, but the amount of spaces. The pay stations are inconveniently located, with some pay stations at least 30 yards away from handicapped spaces.

The Cedar Rapids moving company, Riley Moving and Storage, would like to point out one pro and one con of the new meters.
Pro: Various forms of payment are accepted at the meters, including credit and debit.
Con: Difficult to operate.

We have a solution for you.  If you love Cedar Rapids, but live outside the city and dislike the new parking meters, we are the trusted movers in Cedar Rapids that can move you to a downtown residence. Then you will be able to enjoy downtown without the messy parking meter hassle.

Oakland A's Move to San Jose, Burlington Bees Unaffected

The big news in baseball as of late, is that the Oakland A's have moved from their hometown to San Jose. As local Burlington IA movers, we became slightly concerned along with many others that this would affect the Athletics minor league teams. The Burlington Bees have been a staple in town for years, and the thought of losing them is more than just a little upsetting. Luckily, it seems that our Bees are here to stay and will not be affected by the major league move. Graduating talent including Mark Buehrle and Yorvit Torrealba, we understand that this team is something truly special. We are glad the team is here to stay, and look forward to the opportunity to be the Burlington moving company that helps some new faces join the roster and settle down in Iowa this season.

CID Airport Shakeup

The big news going around yesterday was the American Airlines filing of bankruptcy.  Many airline workers have voiced their opinions that this is a fake airline bankruptcy that is aimed to sever AA's obligation to pay pensions and reduce wages to airline workers.
AMR the parent company of American Eagle and American Airlines filed for chapter eleven which is to reorganize their finances.  The airline is hurting with a net loss of one sixty two million for the quarter.
American Eagle connects CID to Chicago and Dallas Fort Worth.
The Cedar Rapids movers hopes that the third largest airline and all their workers come out of this ok.  We at the Cedar Rapids moving company are supportive of the airline workers and hope to see that their pensions and wages are not mishandled by AA.  Moving anytime soon?  Let the Cedar Rapids moving company move your life while you fly the skies.

Iowa Strives to Become Healthiest State in the Nation

Des Moines movers may want to make sure they are prepared to start moving more at home gym equipment. Although Iowa is currently ranked 19th on the current Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, a state wide initiative to improve the health of residents is being taken very seriously. The end goal? To make Iowa the healthiest state in the country!

Besides helping Iowans hearts, it will also help their bank accounts by improving the state economy. It is estimated that $11 billion would be cut from health care spending and $5 billion would be saved from lack of productivity with healthy lifestyle changes, leaving $16 billion to create new jobs. It truly is a win-win situation, inspiring many to call upon Des Moines movers and join the happy Iowa residents.
